Lash Lift / Brow lamination

Lash Lift & Brow lamination

  • Prep

    When coming to your appointment

    please remember to:

Remove all make-up, especially eye make-up if having a lash lift.

Do not apply any skincare products before the appointment, this will act as a barrier.

    Remove contact lenses.

    Avoid caffeine before the appointment.

    ( For lash lift)

Do not use a sunbed before the treatment.

If you have had any recent Botox/filler you must wait at least 2 weeks before booking in for a lash lift/brow lamination as the Botox needs time to set.

If you are taking any medication, going through menopause or you are pregnant this can have a effect on hormones and unfortunately not allow the product to work correctly.  We may not get the lift results we want during this time.

  • Aftercare

Avoid touching/rubbing the lashes or brows for 12-24hr as they need this time to set. If you do rub them, be sure to brush them back into place.

    Avoid water/swimming/saunas/sunbeds/skincare products/make-up/fake tan/mascara & heat treatments for the first 24hrs.

Oil based products will cause the lift/lamination to drop quicker, this will also make the tint fade faster.

Do not use a lash curler on your lashes after a lift.

After the first 24hrs you can apply mascara to your lashes however you may not need to, if you do make sure it is non waterproof.

Removing mascara can weaken the lift over time, this will mean they may not last as long.

A lash lift / brow lamination should last between 6-8 weeks. You must leave it at least 6/7 weeks before you can rebook another lift/lamination.

You will be given a sachet of lash/brow serum at the end of your appointment, this must be used at least once a week to keep the hairs hydrated, you can use it more if you wish.

You can also purchase a lash & brow serum from Etre Belle.

  • Can I get my lashes/brows wet after ?

At first you must wait 12/24hrs to allow the hair folicle to close and lashes/brows to set.

  • Can I still wear mascara?

After the first 24-48 hours you can wear mascara as long as it is not a waterproof mascara.

You may find that you do not need to once they have been lifted & tinted.

  • How often can I get a lift / brow lam?

You must wait at least 7 weeks before having another treatment.

The lift needs to have dropped, if done to soon the hair can be over processed and can cause damage to the hair.

  • I've had lash extensions on can I get a lash lift?

You can get a lash lift after having eyelash extensions however you must wait at least 4 weeks after the lash extensions to ensure the natural lashes are strong and healthy.
